Since our previous newsletter in September, we have updated the documentation page, attended multiple events and have been working on something new and exciting for interoperability of all existing chains.
Important announcement coming this Christmas!!
What’s new on the documentation page? Well, the most obvious is, it’s a lot more readable. The layout has been redesigned to be easier to navigate. Next, we’ve added documentation on qrtz, the processing language for hybrixd to handle routing requests.
New troubleshooting tool!
Next release, there will be an update included in the API making the process in qrtz behind an API call more clear. This is very useful for troubleshooting when running or developing with the hybrix node.
hybrix now uses nodeJS 12. As the previous version was nodeJS 8, we’re now supporting multithreading as well. Other improvements include an update in calculating the unspents, making this faster and more stable.
We’ve had quite some events the past months. Here's where you might have seen one of us:
We were selected by The Next Web as one of the most promising early stage companies in the European blockchain space. They invited us to attend both the startup boat and the Hard Fork Summit.
Joachim, Kirsten and Amine were in San Francisco to attend the SFBW19. They got in touch with interviewers, other startups, exchanges and other projects. While they were there, they took the opportunity to meet up with Brewster Kahle, founder of the Internet Archive. He gave us insight in how to be and stay non-profit.
BAUW | hands-on
Together with LCU and Rabobank, we organized a hands-on session for nodeJS developers. Attendants could join workshops on ULA (SSI by Rabobank), Lisk.Bike (with the Lisk SDK) and hybrix.
In cooperation with the HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, we have organized a Tech Deep Dive and Firestarter Hackathon for the students following a Blockchain Minor. In 3 days, students gave their group project a boost with help from industry experts.
As some of you have heard, we are working on a review of the protocol. This has resulted in a new way of how interoperability will work. There will be an important and exciting announcement for everyone who has donated to our crowdfund and has HYBRID tokens.
